What are your New Year resolutions for 2024? The common resolutions are to lose weight, save money, eat better or meditate. For many families in Lycoming County their resolutions are much more basic. The first 9 days of 2024 Family Promise had 57 families come to our food pantry. That was 120 individuals without basic needs of food and clothing. 65 of the 120 people were children. We want to see every child have a home and a full belly. It is actually on of the goals of Family Promise National Organization for 1 million children country wide to have the stability a home brings. We are doing our part here in Lycoming County with the help of our volunteers and donors. Thank you for believing in us and helping us change the face of homelessness.
